About the Locally Grown Collection
Locally Grown is our debut summer drop — four original prints designed in our studio with the local artists we collaborate with on every collection. Each print captures a small piece of summer: strawberries, soft florals, sun-faded stripes, and a single quiet solid for the days when one print is enough.
Every pattern is hand-drawn before it touches fabric. None of these prints exist on any other brand. That's the rule we made when we started Remi & Capri, and it's the one we don't break — every collection we drop is original to us, designed in-house, never licensed from a print library.
What's in the Collection
The Locally Grown collection is built around four hand-drawn prints across two silhouettes:
- Taylor Tee — relaxed unisex tee in Locally Grown (strawberries), Snacks for Dinner (soft denim blue), Forget Me Not (ditsy floral), and Honey (solid)
- Morgan Shorts — elastic-waist drawstring shorts in Forget Me Not, Coastal Stripes, and Honey Gingham
Sizes run 6 months through 6T. Every Taylor Tee was designed to mix with every Morgan Short, so a single top earns three different outfits depending on the bottom you pair it with.
How to Style the Collection
For everyday summer play, pair the strawberry-print Locally Grown Taylor Tee with the Honey Gingham Morgan Shorts — print on print, but the colors do the work. For breezy beach mornings, the Snacks for Dinner denim tee balances the Coastal Stripes shorts. The cream Honey solid tee is the easiest mix — it works with all three printed bottoms and pulls double duty as a layering piece under our Linden Blouse for fall.
If you're shopping for matching siblings, look for the Forget Me Not, Honey, and Locally Grown prints — all three are available across multiple silhouettes so a baby in a Two-Piece Pajama, a toddler in a Romper, and a kid in a Taylor Tee can all wear the same print.
Fabric, Fit, and Care
Soft cotton, mid-weight enough to hold the print but breathable through warm summer days. Tees have a relaxed unisex fit through the body and short sleeves. Shorts feature an elastic waist with a soft drawstring tie, sized generously to grow with toddlers through one full season.
Wash cold on a gentle cycle. Tumble dry low or hang to dry. The prints are colorfast and won't fade through normal wash.

What sizes does the Locally Grown collection come in?
The collection is sized 6 months through 6T in both Taylor Tees and Morgan Shorts. Both pieces run true to size with a relaxed fit. We recommend ordering your child's current size unless they're at the very end of a size range, in which case sizing up gives you a full season of wear.
Are these prints exclusive to Remi & Capri?
Yes — every print in Locally Grown is hand-drawn in our studio in collaboration with the local artists we work with year-round. None of these patterns exist on any other brand. We design every original print ourselves and never license artwork from third-party print libraries.
Can I match siblings across this collection?
Yes. Three of the four Locally Grown prints — Forget Me Not, Honey, and Locally Grown — are also available in our Matching Mornings collection as Two-Piece Pajamas, Rompers, and Dresses, sized newborn through 6T. Shop the matching prints to coordinate siblings of different ages.
